Plate heat exchangers are actually a series of products formed by folding corrugated metal plates, forming large channels between various plates and allowing for heat exchange. So how does the equipment adjust water flow to reduce temperature?

It has the characteristics of high heat exchange efficiency, small heat loss, compact and lightweight structure, small footprint, convenient installation and cleaning, wide application, and long service life. Under the same pressure loss, its Heat transfer coefficient is 3-5 times higher than that of the tubular heat exchanger, covering one third of the floor area of the tubular equipment, and the heat recovery rate can be more than 90%.

The plate heat exchanger in the lubrication system is an important component of the steam turbine device. Due to the absorption of heat generated by friction at bearings and other places during the oil circulation process, the temperature continues to rise, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the unit. Be sure to control the oil temperature within the specified range (requiring no higher than 60-65 ℃ and no lower than 35-40 ℃). Excessive temperature may cause damage to bearings and other components due to overheating. And it will reduce the service life of the lubricating oil. If the temperature is too low, it will increase the viscosity of the lubricating oil, increase friction and wear, and even cause machine vibration. So using a plate heat exchanger to reduce the temperature of lubricating oil by adjusting the flow rate of cooling water.
